OVER THE PASSES TO SAMNAUN
... or when the journey itself becomes an experience!
Mainly due to the lack of a direct access road across Swiss territory, Samnaun finally became duty-free in 1892.
To this day, the pass roads to the neighbouring Tyrol and Italy are of enormous importance for trade and goods traffic. Many spectacular routes wind through the border triangle in the Alps.
Discover the Albula, Arlberg, Bernina, Flüela, Ofen, Reschen, Stelvio or Umbrail Passes ...
The drive to and from Samnaun becomes an adventure - ideal in summer for excursions by car, cabriolet, motorbike or bicycle.
